Fantastic wee place. It was clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was a proper fry! The staff are friendly and welcoming.Only complaint was it was cold and the wee heater took a long time to heat the room.Will definitely stay again - I'll just remember my dressing gown next time

Turned up unannounced on a Sunday morning wanting breakfast for 16 people after night out. We caught them of guard but unfazed they got the tables ready and served us all good time with no mistakes, with all 16 saying there breaky was great and just enough. Would recommend for Breakfast at least as can't comment on anything else.
Just a few words to say thank you to everyone at the Alexander Arms. Stayed Fri/sat night. Food lovely,drinks reasonable and breakfast was a joy. Staff were great- morning noon and night. Proprietor has a gem . Look forward to seeing everyone again. Ps don't be stupid like me and get a parking ticket outside the premises when you can park at back.
