Best fish & chips either side of the Atlantic. Haven't had them this delicious since emigrating. Stopped by for a late lunch after visiting the statue of cousin "Farmer Bill" around the corner. Afraid we had missed the lunch hour and would miss the opportunity to introduce my wife to a real 'chippy' experience. The owner fixed us up boxes, freshly made, golden perfection to take with us.They earned those medals on the wall for a reason.
Been in tonight to get some food I asked for a double decker burger, get back to house to only find the 2 burgers & lettuce on there minus the cheese, tomatoe, cucumber, onions. Most disappointed with the burger however the chips are lovely.
