Great site for camping. Chippy just at the entrance and a mini shop. Chippy is good value and the shop is quite pricey. My only complaint is the toilets near the tents closes at night. 20p for a quick shower.
Great facilities, location and well maintained. However Awful obnoxious owner with no manners. Very aggressive in his approach when asking or should I say yelling to turn off music on the campsite. Completely understandable request but completely wrong approach when there are young children there. Wagged his finger in my partners face and told him to get off the site as he did not need his money as people who own the mobile homes give him 30000 a year and he does not need our 20. We previously bought a mobile home off him a few years back but really begrudging giving the man any business and will not be back.
The camp site was well looked after and kept clean and tidy, that's the only good thing that I can say! the owner or whoever he was was extremely rude and his attitude left a lot to be desired, for someone who has ran a campsite for over 30 years has no people skills what so ever! I have been to many campsites over the years and as far as rudeness goes this is the worst one I've ever been to, I certainly won't be back again!
